A Lore Tracker is an accessory used in Disney Lorcana to track each player's current Lore total. The goal of the game is to reach 20 Lore, so accurate tracking is essential.

Types of Lore trackers

Paper token (included in Starter Decks)

Each Starter deck includes a paper punch‑out token with a sliding marker. The token is numbered from 0 to 20 (or higher). Players slide a small cardboard indicator to their current Lore total.

Dice

Many players use a 20‑sided die (d20) or two 10‑sided dice to track Lore. This is not official but is widely accepted in casual play.

Digital trackers

The official Disney Lorcana app includes a digital Lore tracker for both players. Some third‑party apps also offer this feature.

Custom trackers

Fans have created custom wooden, acrylic, or 3D‑printed Lore trackers, often themed after Disney characters or the six Ink colors.

Official product history

The paper Lore tracker was first included in The First Chapter Starter Decks. Subsequent Starter Decks continue to include a similar token. No standalone Lore tracker product has been released by Ravensburger as of 2026.

Rules for using a Lore tracker

  • Players should update their Lore immediately after gaining or losing Lore.
  • If both players use dice, it is common to place the die on top of the deck or in a dedicated area.
  • In tournament play, players are responsible for maintaining an accurate Lore total; disputes may be resolved by a judge.

Trivia

  • Some players use a "spin‑down" d20 (numbers in sequence) for easier tracking.
  • The Lore icon on official trackers is a glowing scroll symbol.
