Frozen: Journey to Ahtohallan is the seventeenth set of the Disney Lorcana trading card game, planned for release in 2027.[1] The set follows Elsa as she answers the call of the mysterious voice and ventures into the Enchanted Forest to discover the truth about her powers and the magical glacier of Ahtohallan.
Story
Elsa, hearing a mysterious voice, embarks on a journey into the Enchanted Forest. The spirits of wind, fire, water, and earth have been awakened, and the kingdom of Arendelle is under threat. Elsa must travel to the mythical glacier of Ahtohallan to find the source of her power and restore balance to the natural world. Meanwhile, Anna, Kristoff, Sven, and Olaf work to help the people of Arendelle, facing the consequences of the awakened spirits on their own.
New mechanics
- Journey – A new mechanic where characters have "Journey X", meaning they can "journey" to a specific location card (like "Enchanted Forest" or "Ahtohallan") for a special effect, possibly gaining lore or an additional ability. This would represent the characters' progression through the film's story.
Featured characters
The set features many classic Frozen characters, possibly in new forms:
- Elsa – In her iconic white ice dress from the climax of Frozen II.
- Anna – As Queen of Arendelle, possibly with an ability focused on supporting other characters.
- Olaf – The enchanted snowman could have a simple, low‑cost ability.
