Lorcana Wiki is a privately-owned service. As a reader and user, you are a guest and will be well-treated as long as you abide by and act in accordance with the rules of the wiki, expressly described hereafter, and those implicit. Implied in your usage is that you agree that your usage of the service shall be at your risk in connection with the service and your usage thereof, and that you agree with the aforementioned rules, express and implied.

Rules and regulations

Prohibitions

  • No obscenity, indecency, or profanity.
  • No violating copyright or intellectual property laws.
    • No warez or piracy, including, but not limited to, discussing, distributing, requesting, or hyperlinking to such material.
  • No solicitation, advertising, or spamming.
  • No false personation, impersonation, or pretenses.

Restrictions

  • Unless approved and demonstrated to be necessary for legitimate reasons, users shall have one (1) account only.
    • Users with multiple accounts or suspected of having multiple accounts shall be dealt with accordingly.
  • Users shall revert edits up to two (2) times (i.e., no edit warring).
    • Users who engage in edit wars shall be dealt with accordingly.

Permissions and conduct

  • Be civil – Do not make personal attacks on other people. If you need to criticize another user’s argument, do so without attacking them as a person. Do not use bigoted language, including slurs that degrade another person or group based on gender, race, sexual orientation, nationality, religion, etc.
  • Be a productive member of the wiki – Contribute in line with established processes and conventions. Need help? Ask an administrator!
  • Do not engage in excessive self-promotion – The wiki is a collaborative community resource, not a free place to advertise your related website, YouTube channel, blog, or social media account. If you’re unsure about a link, ask an administrator.
  • Do not harass other users – If somebody asks you to stop posting certain content on their user talk page, respect their wishes.
  • Do follow community guidelines for formatting – When a community has established formatting (see below), adhere to it.

Notes

  • Lorcana Wiki, like Wikipedia, does not have firm, immutable rules.
  • The rules here tend to be broad and are not immutable; their wordings and interpretations are subject to change.
  • Violating rules may result in restoration of the status quo (e.g., reversion or deletion of edits, pages, or images) and/or a message from an administrator.
